Hi Marijn
We have a license for the existing 32 bit server, how do I go about running the 64 bit while doing the transfer?

No set procedure really... Copying mailbox folders would work just fine yes.

It is not recommended to just switch 32 / 64 bit binaries on the same install as there are a few binary data files (notably pstat logging but I think there are a few more) that are incompatible due data size incompatibilities. But even that should be detected and the files deleted.

Mirroring would work just as well.

Hi All
After looking through your replies, I'm going for 64bit Windows 2008R2 Server.
Running virtual.
Currently we are running Windows 2003R2 32 Bit

I take it that the way to go is do a fresh install on the 2008R2 server.
Copy the Mailbox folder over and Files from the Surgemail folder.

Is there a set procedure????
